Bhavesh is an experienced litigator specialising in commercial litigation, shareholder and company disputes, cross-border insolvency, and contentious trusts and private client matters.

Following his degree at St. Catherine’s College, Oxford, Bhavesh trained and qualified into the disputes department of Herbert Smith Freehills. During that time he was seconded to RBS and UBS.

Bhavesh has advised international clients on a variety of high profile matters, including the liquidators of the largest feeder fund to the Bernard Madoff Ponzi scheme, RBS on its Rights Issue Litigation, and creditors to the Abraaj Group.

Bhavesh is categorized as a ‘Future Leader’ in Who’s Who Legal’s Litigation Guide for the Cayman Islands and is listed in Legal Week’s Private Client Global Elite. He has also been recognized by Finance Monthly for Commercial Litigation in the Cayman Islands. He is also an overseas member of the Chancery Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, RISA Cayman, and serves on the INSOL Younger Members Committees.
