Louise is an investment funds and corporate lawyer with over 20 years of legal experience gained in the City as a partner in the corporate and investment funds groups at Herbert Smith, as general counsel to a private investment management firm and most recently with Travers Thorp Alberga.

Since joining us Louise has acted for a broad spectrum of managers and funds in the private equity and hedge funds sectors assisting in the structuring, establishment, restructuring and closure of funds, on manager and service provider agreements and investor relationships including the full remit of fund related regulatory and commercial matters for large financial institutions, mid-sized and start up managers.

Her experience includes strategies focused on equities, fixed income, debt and distressed debt opportunities, fund of funds, venture capital, private equity, real estate, technology, crypto assets and other alternative strategies.

Louise also advises on general corporate transactional and non-transactional matters, including complex restructurings, mergers and acquisitions ,IPO’s joint ventures, corporate and balance sheet restructurings, preference share financings, takeovers (hostile and recommended), tender offers, schemes of arrangement, and proxy battles for corporate clients and multinational corporate groups.
